Routine Maintenance

I was honored to be included in a very cool portfolio called Routine Maintenance organized by Andrew Kozlowski. My time was 10 am. I wanted this time because I generally get up then, make coffee, and think about how my day will unfold. I try to make a orderly plan for what I need to accomplish. I often proceed to spill the coffee and things can unravel from there. The print is about the push and pull between chaos and order that occurs throughout a pandemic day.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted our normal routines, blurred the lines between work and home, and required us to adapt to new cycles. This portfolio offers a document of this upheaval. Each artist was assigned an hour of the day and produce a print in response to that time. These 24 images represent one day, fractured and reconfigured, reflecting the diversity of experience in how we now conduct our days.
