Explorations of A Medium: Printmaking, Best of Show Award!

Growth Patterns made its debut in the Denver area before I did in an international printmaking exhibition called Explorations of A Medium: Printmaking at the Center for the Arts Evergreen in Evergreen, CO. This was the Center for the Arts Evergreen’s third exhibition devoted to exploring a single art medium. The exhibit featured artwork from 45 artists, from the area, across the nation, and even as far away as Australia. The show was juried by Melanie Yazzie, Associate Professor of Printmaking, University of Colorado at Boulder. The show was up from June 29th until July 26th, 2012. I was ecstatic to receive the Best of Show award!
