University of New Mexico Visiting Artist/ Gale Memorial Lecture Series

I was honored to be invited as a Visiting Artist to University of New Mexico’s Printmaking Program as part of their Gale Memorial Lecture Series in November, 2012. I spent two days on campus having individual critiques with the printmaking graduate students and honors BFA students. I gave a lecture on my art work as well as led a discussion with the printmaking club about “what to do after school”. It was wonderful to be back in Albuquerque again! Yoshiko Shimano was an amazing hostess and it was great to get to hang out with a few old friends and check out the art scene down there!

Here is a picture of Yoshiko Shimano (Associate Professor of Printmaking at UNM), Brook Steiger (Printshop Manager) and myself during my visit.
