Colony #1 is a new research direction, exploring marine bio-invaders. It was created as a result of a recently formed professional relationship with two bryozoan specialists, Dr. Matthew Dick,. and Dr. Thomas Trott. Cribrilna mutabils is an invasive bryozoan that is often found on eelgrass. I am fascinated by it formal beauty and invasive nature. This work was created from manipulated scanning electron microscope images taken from Matthew Dick.
